| STRK is finally here! 💰 Have you been playing around with Starknet? The Starknet Foundation has revealed its airdrop distribution plan, known as Provisions, which will see over 700M STRK tokens (7% of the total supply) distributed to approximately 1.3M eligible wallets. Although the tokens may only be claimed starting from February 20th with a 4-month claiming window, users may already check their eligibility for the airdrop here.
Eligible participants include early Starknet and StarkEx users, as well as Ethereum contributors such as developers, EIP authors, and ETH stakers. It's important to note that the airdrop was calculated based on a snapshot taken way back in November 2023, based on transaction counts and contract interactions. Soon after Starknet made the annoucement, various tokens in the Starknet ecosystem are seeing increased volatility, with the memecoin OWL plunging by 46% from $0.1 to as low as $0.054.
Additionally, Aevo has just opened its pre-launch markets for STRK, where it is currently trading at ~$1.80 per token.

At $1.80, STRK will have a fully diluted valuation of $18B. For comparison, Optimism's OP token currently has an FDV of $16.4B, while ARB has an FDV of $21B.
