It's been 20 years since Dave and I met (cleaning bathrooms on our college campus). I knew he'd be perfect for me, but assumed it could never work since he was a senior and I was a freshman.
Thankfully, he needed a 5th year to finish his degree, and after 8 months of cleaning together, he FINALLY asked me out... we were engaged 8 months later. 🥰
After 20 years, he still helps me clean bathrooms (occasionally) and he did turn out to be perfect for me.

The kids have requested red Jell-O hearts for our Valentine's meal... simple enough! These are really fun, easy to make, and very "sturdy".

Snowshoeing... sans snow: Simon and I were supposed to go snowshoeing last week, but the snow melted so we went on a bird-watching hike instead. He's my bird-loving boy so he had lots of fun. 🦅

100 Days: Clara celebrated 100 days of Kindergarten and a dear friend from church celebrated his 100th birthday (he actually fought in WWII 😯), so we've been doing lots of 100 things around here lately. 💯
She still insists that she can't count any higher than 109 LOL!
Dress-Up Clothes for the Win: Readers often ask for recommendations on kids' toys and games... honestly, the "toy" our kids use all year long is dress-up clothes. They are constantly dressing up for different games or skits with each other, with neighbors, or with whoever else is around. James is currently on a fake glasses kick... I told him he should be a professor for Halloween next year. 👓
