Former U.S. President Donald Trump was spotted at PubKey, a popular crypto-themed bar in New York City, purchasing burgers using Bitcoin. This public display of cryptocurrency use aligns with PubKey's reputation as a hub for Bitcoin enthusiasts.

Trump's appearance at the bar and his decision to use Bitcoin sparked interest due to his past mixed opinions on cryptocurrencies. After making the payment with his phone, he declared the transaction as "history in the making." The purchase makes him the first U.S. president to publicly use the Bitcoin network.

The appearance at PubKey followed Trump's support for World Liberty Financial, a crypto project involving him and his family. Launched two days prior, the project introduced a non-transferrable governance token called WLFI.

Seeking a new smartphone? 📱

The Solana Seeker smartphone has been revealed. It is the successor to last year's Solana Saga smartphone, which initially struggled to sell, but saw renewed interest following a surge in token airdrops which covered the phone's cost.

Solana Labs, the team behind the two phones, mentioned a mid-2025 release for the Solana Seeker. Unlike its predecessor, the Seeker is priced at $450, less than half of the Saga, yet promises to deliver improved hardware, including a brighter display, longer battery life, and better cameras. Aimed at crypto users, the Seeker will feature enhanced crypto integrations, including the Seed Vault and a custom wallet.

The smartphone has surpassed 140,000 in pre-orders, as users flock to buy it, likely speculating on potential airdrops.
