A lot of folks assume that because I advocate for simpler, more resilient ways to build for the web, and rail against tools like React and Tailwind and so much, that I'm anti-tooling.
But the Lean Web isn't against using tools. It's about using the right tool for the job.
A claw hammer is a better tool than a sledge hammer for hanging a picture on a wall. Both will do the job, but one is notably worse despite being "more powerful."
The tools we use to build for the web are like that, too.
Cheers,
Chris
