| | Rural Champions, The National Center for Rural Road Safety is excited to announce two new Road Safety Champion Program (RSCP) opportunities!! Four New RSCP Modules Available on Thursday September 14th As part of the National Summit on Rural Road Safety, the National Center for Rural Road Safety will be piloting four new RSCP modules both in-person and virtually on Thurs., Sept. 14th. From 1:15-3:15 pm CT choose between: - Work Zones
RSCP Maintenance and Construction (M&C) Module #2 and Planning & Engineering (P&E) Module #2 - Joint Training on Crash Reporting
RSCP Planning & Engineering (P&E) Module #5 and First Responder (FR) Module #2 From 3:30-5:30 pm CT choose between: - Worker Safety
RSCP Maintenance and Construction (M&C) Module #3 - Public Health Approaches to Road Safety
RSCP Public Health (PH) Module #1 Cost to attend is $50 total (regardless of if you choose to take one or two), registration can be found here. You can also join us virtually for the entire summit Sept. 12-14 for an additional $325. This price includes access to the summit session recordings for two weeks following summit completion (note that RSCP module recordings will NOT be available) and the bonus Local/Tribal Road Safety Plan Office Hours on Sept 11th in the afternoon.
Fall 2023 Offering of the Core Modules We are once again offering our seven core modules this fall. Modules will be held on Thursdays from 2-4 pm ET starting on September 21st. Registration for these modules is free and can be found here. Please note that module 3 will be given out of order. Thank you for letting us be your "Safety Sidekick"!
