Ordinals Finance, a lending and borrowing platform for Ordinals inscriptions, has seemingly conducted an exit scam, resulting in a $1 million loss for investors.

Using the ironically-named 'safuToken' function, the project's developers withdrew 256 million of their native OFI tokens from their smart contracts, and an additional 13 million tokens were taken using the 'ownerRewithdraw' function.

As of the time of writing, the price of OFI has plunged by 95.6% to $0.000096.

Bybit Says Bye to No-KYC

Starting in May, Bybit will require its customers to undergo know-your-customer (KYC) identity verification in order to use the exchange's products and services.

Existing users who have not completed the identity verification process by 8th May will only be allowed to withdraw their funds or close their existing positions on the platform.

South Korea Says No

According to a recent court ruling in South Korea, the cryptocurrency LUNA, is not a security under Korea's Capital Markets Act.

The prosecution claimed that LUNA was involved in a series of fraudulent transactions that violated the aforementioned Act, but the charges were dismissed.

However, the SEC had said otherwise, charging the creator, Terraform Labs, and its founder, Do Kwon, for violating securities laws.
