Jupiter, the popular Solana-based DEX aggregator, will distribute more than $1.7B worth of JUP tokens to the community in January 2025 and 2026 as part of its revised airdrop plan.
After the Jupiter DAO shot down the team's first plan, more than 87% of the DAO voted in favor of the second proposal, which included several significant adjustments.
Based on feedback from the first proposal, the team's second proposal includes an additional allocation for JUP stakers, with added duration-based bonuses.
Additionally, a portion of the distributed token will be re-utilized within the ecosystem to incentivize users to purchase and vote with their JUP.
Any unclaimed JUP tokens will also be reclaimed as part of the protocol's Active Staking Rewards.

Some of the new products that SushiSwap plans to introduce next year are Kubo, a perpetuals platform for delta-neutral strategies, and Wara, a new exchange that will be deployed on Solana.
The team will also focus its efforts on creating a multi-token ecosystem where the Sushi brand can expand beyond EVM networks.
