Solana on a tear! ↗️
According to DefiLlama, five of the top 10 protocols by fees in the last 24 hours were on Solana. Many Solana-based DeFi applications experienced record fees and revenue amid a surge in memecoin activity.
Raydium saw $11.3 million in fees, while Jito had $9.87 million on November 17. Meanwhile, trading bot Photon had $2.93 million in fees, and memecoin launchpad had $1.9 million in 24 hours.
This frenzy coincided with Solana (SOL) nearing its all-time high at $242, its highest since 2021. Solana memecoins have also gained traction, further boosting the network. Peanut (PNUT) recently surged over 2,700% after being listed on Binance, and Dogwifhat (WIF) was listed on Coinbase, also driving its price up.

In the previous bull cycle of 2021, it hit ~$77 billion in market cap, at $259.96. This time around, it has already breached ~$112 billion in value, though it is only trading at $242.62.
