In the aftermath, users who had already bridged over immediately began to panic, fearing that their funds would now be lost.
In response, the team also stated that those who had moved their funds could still withdraw them to the Ethereum mainnet.

Two years after FTX's downfall, the defunct exchange is now seeking $1.76B in damages from Binance and its former CEO, Changpeng Zhao (CZ). The lawsuit claims that FTX's founder, Sam Bankman-Fried, fraudulently transferred that amount to Binance in July 2021 after FTX had repurchased its equity from the exchange.
