FTA today released videos highlighting changes to Award Management Requirements, part of a series of training videos for recipients and stakeholders as part of the recent publication of newly revised program guidance and award management requirements. Each Friday from October 18 through November 15, 2024, FTA will post videos summarizing grants management information and highlighting the requirements outlined in each of the revised circulars. We encourage grant recipients who administer FTA-funded projects to watch the videos as they are released. Award Management Requirements guidance (Circular 5010) is the second video series and is designed to provide recipients and stakeholders with a better understanding of changes made to FTA's official guidance on award management and other requirements that pertain to all FTA financial assistance: This video provides an introduction to Circular 5010, including an overview of changes; changes to definitions; the relationship to FTA programs; updates to civil rights and procurement requirements; and new cross-cutting FTA requirements. This video provides an overview of changes that enhance the recipient's understanding of the award lifecycle; pre-award or pre-application actions and considerations; the application HI process; and financial management. This video provides an overview of post-award administration; FTA oversight; and award closeout, including reporting requirements, modifications to awards, and administration of FTA-assisted property, real property, and equipment.
