How have other sports fared? | | | Bits and bobs from Breakpoint 2024 🍪 The fourth edition of Solana's biggest conference, Breakpoint, was held in Singapore last Friday, with several major projects announcing new updates and partnerships. ReFi project PowerLedger is expanding into the Solana ecosystem, integrating directly into the mainnet and deprecating its own Solana Virtual Machine (SVM).
Besides existing as an ERC-20 token, the project's native POWR token will also be issued on Solana.
Crypto exchange Coinbase announced that its version of wrapped Bitcoin, cbBTC, will coming to Solana, although no specific date was mentioned.
Last but not least, the co-founder of the the Jupiter DEX aggregator, Siong Ong, revealed that the platform had acquired the blockchain explorer, SolanaFM, and the Cosmos aggregator, Coinhall.
Ong also mentioned several upgrades in the pipeline for Jupiter, including Jupiter Mobile, an application that allows users to swap directly from their phone at zero fees.
Since the start of Breakpoint 2024, the price of SOL rose by 6.7% from $142 to a peak of $151.50 but has since retraced to $144.68 after the conference ended on Saturday.

A group of developers have conducted a hard fork of the Bitcoin wallet, Samourai, using it as the underlying technology of a new mobile wallet under the 'Ashigaru Open Source Project,'
The Ashigaru website mentions that the team will launch and maintain open-source software that is completely private and has a low barrier to entry for new users. In addition to Samourai, the developers stated that they had also heavily integrated and built on top of existing software from other crypto projects.
