The broker, broken 🔑

On-chain brokerage platform DeltaPrime was recently drained by attackers, losing over $6M worth of crypto assets.

Although the project has been deployed on both Arbitrum and Avalanche, only the Arbitrum version was affected, which prevented users from withdrawing their funds.

According to Fuzzland founder Chaofan Shou, the attacker could access the private key of the proxy administrator smart contract.

The attackers then upgraded the proxies to reference a malicious contract, which inflated the figure of the hacker's deposited funds on the platform.

As per the team's latest announcement, they are currently working on recovering the funds and minimizing user losses.

Since the exploit, the price of DeltaPrime's native PRIME token has remained largely unchanged at $1.01.

Humans first, bots second 👁️

According to Worldcoin's latest announcement, cross-chain protocol Wormhole has successfully integrated World ID onto Solana.

Previously, only developers on Ethereum could access World ID's user base to verify real and unique human users.

With this latest integration, Solana-based dApps will also be able to check and verify users that were originally authenticated on Ethereum.

As such, developers on Solana can now build projects that only offer priority or better privileges to real users, as opposed to the vast majority of bots on the network.
