Do you know the way? 🐶 Notcoin have launched their latest game on Telegram, known as Lost Dogs.
Pivoting away from the 'Tap-to-Earn' model in April, their newest title is meant to be a story-driven game, where users can embark on a quest with their dog-based characters to find a new home.
In the game, characters are represented using NFTs from the Lost Dogs collection, originally launched on TON earlier in March, and will constantly transform as the story progresses.
The gameplay is equally as simple as playing Notcoin - users get to vote on choices that will affect the story by using BONES, with the winning choice being defined as either the most popular, least popular or the average.
Winning votes will stand to earn a share of NOT tokens and a new in-game currency known as WOOF.
Users can also purchase more BONES to vote with, which will grant them a larger share of NOT token earnings if they win.
While WOOF is similar to points and are not tradeable at the start, users are speculating that they will also be convertible into tokens in a similar fashion to Notcoin.
Editor's Note: It's refreshing to see that newer Telegram mini-games are gradually moving away from clicker-type titles and incorporating an added element of complexity, while retaining simplistic gameplay. However, it remains to be seen whether this new title will be able to pull in the same level of metrics as Notcoin, especially with the rising number of competitors and hype around the TON blockchain slowing down. |
