Time to blast off! 🚀 The launch date of the Blast airdrop is finally confirmed!
According to Blast's latest announcement, the native token of the popular Layer-2 network will be going live on June 26th, much later than the community had anticipated.
The team even took note of this and apologised, stating that the launch date was 'past our initial estimate of May and we're sorry for the delay,'
As such, the team has decided to increase airdrop allocations to account for the delay.
Additionally, there will be two final distributions of Blast Gold points before the token's official launch.
Half of the upcoming airdrop will be distributed to developers in the form of Blast Gold, while the remainder will be split between early users who bridged onto the network since November last year.
While tokenomics for BLAST have not yet been revealed, the token is currently trading around $3.80 on the Aevo pre-launch markets.
