The penguins win again 🐧
This one's for the NFT holders!
Arcade, a P2P NFT lending platform, will launch its Clash of Claims airdrop event, where holders of specific NFT collections will stand a chance to win a share of the platform's governance token, ARCD.
By holding ARCD, users will become part of the ArcadeDAO and participate in the governance process to shape the direction of the protocol, such as choosing which NFT collections to include on the platform and how the DAO treasury would be used.
The airdrop claim will be conducted across 2 phases - the first phase will be reserved for 4000 participants who are guaranteed a slot from a whitelist raffle, while the second is open to the public but is first come, first serve.
Interestingly, the first phase will see 2000 spots reserved for Sappy Seal, Lil Pudgy, and Pudgy Penguin holders, where each wallet can claim 750 ARCD tokens.
This isn't the first time that holders of Pudgy NFTs have become eligible for free tokens, following the latest Dymension airdrop that was distributed recently.
While the airdrop initially capped the number of tokens held by wallets with multiple Pudgy NFTs, the cap was eventually removed, allowing each Pudgy NFT to receive approximately 1,300 DYM tokens.
At DYM's current price of $7.80, holders could have gotten an airdrop of approximately $10,000 for each Pudgy held.
Even after the completion of the airdrop, the floor price of Pudgy Penguins has continued to climb upwards by 30.8% from 15.25 ETH (~$43K) to 19.95 ETH (~$56K).

Pudgy Penguins have set up two of their own validators on Dymension, one by the team and another by the community, both of which are in the top 100 validators ranked by total DYM staked. This level of commitment and participation from token holders is often what newer projects look for in building their communities, so it wouldn't be surprising to see NFT collections like Pudgy Penguins being included in future airdrops.
