South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb is reportedly considering an initial public offering (IPO) in Korea, potentially becoming the first Korean crypto exchange to be listed.
In a separate development, Modhaus, a South Korean blockchain-based K-pop startup, has secured $8 million in a series A funding round led by Sfermion, a U.S. venture capital firm. The funds will support Modhaus in introducing additional blockchain-based use cases in the Korean entertainment sector.
