Hey everyone 👋
Long time no talk! We've been quite busy with releasing v2.0 of Flowbite which brings a lot of new features and a strong foundation for the upcoming UI components we will be launching in the following months.
Here's a list of stuff we've launched in the previous months:
- Flowbite v2.0 - Instance Manager and RTL support (made a video about it)
- Flowbite React - Server Components support for Next.js
- Flowbite Pro:
- Flowbite Figma Pro v2.8.0 with new dashboard and Application UI layouts
- Over 220+ blocks coded in React and TypeScript (download from here)
Flowbite v2.0
The main launch for this version is the new Instance Manager which allows you to access the instance of the UI components via JavaScript even if they were created via data attributes. For example, if you create a modal component via data attributes (aka. copy-pasting our code) then you can now retrieve the object via "FlowbiteInstances" and start programmatically calling methods.
Another interesting feature is full RTL support for all our UI components via logical properties and RTL specific variants. All you need to do is make sure that you have Tailwind CSS v3.3+ installed and you add the dir="rtl" attribute to the main HTML element.
We also provided a lot of bug fixes and small improvements to the HTML markup and design of the components and we plan on releasing a lot of new components and features in the coming months - so stay tuned!
A good way to stay up to date with what we build is by following me on Twitter/X and subscribing to the GitHub repository:

Flowbite React
Our awesome community members have been working on full RSC support for Flowbite React and I'm happy to let you know that we're in the final phase of finishing up full RSC support. Check out the components and download the latest version of Flowbite React to start working with RSC and Next.js.
Soon after the RSC update we'll start coding new components and integrations and in parallel we are also doing the pro version integrations for our current pro blocks, templates, and start planning for the future resources that we'll launch for Flowbite Pro.
Flowbite Pro
As mentioned above, we've launched new dashboard and Application UI blocks, sections, and pages and we are currently working on the E-commerce UI designs as we speak - we will follow up with a lot more updates in the coming period and as soon as we find a senior front-end engineer (details below) we will be able to release these resources even quicker!
We may increase the price of Flowbite Pro as we release new resources so make sure you grab a copy as you will receive these updates for free as an early adopter added bonus.
What we're working on
Here's a list of stuff we want to launch before the end of the year:
- Figma design for the E-commerce UI layout (we know... but it's almost ready!)
- Next.js dashboard with support for server components
- Bunch of new UI components for the library and blocks collection
- ... and more!
Flowbite is hiring!
On another note, we're also looking to hire a senior front-end web developer with the following skills:
- very good knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript, working specifically with the DOM
- extensive experience with Tailwind CSS and Flowbite
- keen eye for UI/UX and pixel-perfect integration based on our Figma designs
- accessibility focused development using accredited (ie. WAS)
- write unit tests via Jest or another tool for UI/UX and component behaviour
Please reply to this email or upload your resume and projects on our contact form. We don't work with agencies.
Cheers,
Zoltan
