Backed Finance has launched a tokenized government bond on the layer-2 network Base.

This tokenization protocol has effectively converted BlackRock's iShares bond ETF UCITS, which is designed to track a combination of short-term U.S. Treasury bills. The tokenized version of this bond is now represented by the ticker symbol blBO1.
