HSBC Hong Kong has expanded its services by introducing Bitcoin and Ethereum futures Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), providing greater access to digital asset derivatives in Asia.

These ETFs, traded as securities, are now available on HSBC Hong Kong's "Easy Invest" mobile app, enabling investors in Hong Kong to gain exposure to cryptocurrencies.

Contradiction

The Swiss National Bank (SNB) has announced plans to conduct a pilot program for a wholesale central bank digital currency (wCBDC) using real money.

The wCBDC will be issued on the Swiss SIX digital exchange and will be tested through actual transactions with market participants for a limited duration.

This marks a change in the SNB's stance from the previous year when its chief economist stated that the country had no plans to issue a CBDC.

A New Chapter

Azuki, a prominent player in the NFT space, has unveiled a new collection called "Elementals," further expanding the project's ecosystem.

Azuki Elementals will include 20,000 NFTs based on the four Azuki elements of earth, fire, lightning, and water.

The sale of these NFTs will begin today through a Dutch Auction, with bidding starting at 2 ETH.
