Arbitrum's on-chain hiccup

Arbitrum, a Layer-2 scaling solution for Ethereum, faced a temporary halt in its operations when its centralized sequencer ran out of gas to send transactions to Ethereum to be verified.

The network failed to process transactions for over an hour before the sequencer was manually replenished with 1.4 ETH.

Aave Companies has proposed the final implementation of its native stablecoin, GHO, before its mainnet launch.

If the proposal is approved, GHO will provide extra financial stability for the project by generating extra revenue for the Aave DAO through interest payments made on GHO loans.
