Mattel has teamed up with the Fast and the Furious movie franchise to release the latest series of digital collectibles from their Hot Wheels NFT Garage series.

Issued on the Flow blockchain, the collection will feature iconic cars from the films, such as Dominic Torreto's 1970 Dodge Charger and Brian O'Connor's 1969 Camero.

The limited-edition NFTs will go on sale for $20 each starting next week on May 22.

Just 2 days ago, Bitcoin Cash received its latest upgrade, allowing users to create new tokens that are similar to the network's native BCH token.

Known as 'CashTokens', the assets can be issued by anyone using the network and can be used for a variety of financial and social applications.

The upgrade also serves as the backbone for decentralized applications to exist on the Bitcoin Cash network.

Locking Horns with Ledger

Cold wallet provider Ledger faced heaps of backlash from the crypto community after releasing the new Ledger Recover feature in their newest firmware update.

The service will allow users to back up their wallet's seed phrase by splitting it into three encrypted fragments, which can be recovered through identity verification.

While Ledger claims that the service is optional, many are skeptical that the firmware upgrade poses a security risk to all Ledger users.
