Yesterday, the price of Bitcoin briefly fell by 7% from $29,850 to $27,700 after Arkham Intelligence, a blockchain analytics platform, mistakenly alerted some users about the movement of funds from wallets linked to Mt. Gox and the United States government.

Although Arkham initially stated that the error occurred due to a 'bug fix', they later claimed that the alerts were actually sent correctly.

Additionally, the platform disputed that the plunge in BTC occurred slightly earlier before the alerts were sent out.

NFL Rivals, a Web3 mobile game developed by Mythical Games, is now available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

The fantasy football game features the inclusion of NFTs, where users can buy and sell their NFL players using Mythical's in-game marketplace.

While the game is currently running on the developer's own Ethereum-compatible network, NFL Rivals is planning to migrate to their own parachain called the 'Mythos Superchain' on the Polkadot network.

Going Full Circle

Stablecoin issuer Circle has launched its Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP), allowing users to transfer USDC from Ethereum to Avalanche, and vice versa.

Unlike most bridges that simply lock tokens on one chain and release the tokens to another, the CCTP will actually destroy the USDC and distribute new tokens on the destination network.

Some of the largest cross-chain platforms such as Celer, Wormhole, and Li.Fi, have already agreed to integrate CCTP in the near future.
