Leading up to the much anticipated Arbitrum token launch, community members have already started speculating on the price of the unreleased tokens in over-the-counter (OTC) markets.

The Arbitrum Foundation announced that the ARB token would be airdropped to eligible users on March 23, 2023, marking the beginning of their transition into a DAO.

With a total circulating supply of 10 billion tokens, the community would control 56% of the tokens, with the airdrop releasing 11.5% to eligible users and 1.1% to DAOs on Arbitrum.

NFT Wash Trading on Marketplaces

NFT wash trading is on the rise again across the biggest marketplaces, increasing 126.0% month-on-month to reach $0.58 billion in Feb.

Blur contributed to 27% of the wash trading volume, as its airdrop saw traders ramping up their activity on the marketplace. X2Y2 meanwhile accounted for 49% and LooksRare 15%.

The team behind the decentralized finance data aggregator platform issued a statement apologizing for the internal conflict, which led to a forked version of the dashboard.

The dispute between co-founders 0xngmi and 0xLlam4 went public over rumors of a potential token launch.

The team cleared up the rift between the co-founders and clarified that there was no LLAMA token currently planned, and any airdrops will be discussed with the community.

Adult-themed payment service, SpankPay, announced that it would shut down its services due to support withdrawal.

The shutdown followed the termination of the platform's service agreement with its upstream payment processor Wyre Payments.

SpankPay's native blockchain Spankchain was launched in August 2019, targeted as a "safe haven" for fans to pay for adult content discreetly with cryptocurrencies.

The creators behind the popular metaverse game Aavegotchi, Pixelcraft Studios, have announced the completion of a $30 million fundraise via a multiyear token sale.

The funding round marks a milestone as one of the largest in the Web3 gaming sector this year with no venture capital or investor participation.

Allocation of the funds would see Pixelcraft Studios receiving 25%, or $7.5 million, with the remaining $22.5 million issued to the protocol DAO's treasury.
