Binance US received the green light from bankruptcy judge Michael Wiles to move ahead with the plan to acquire the assets of bankrupt crypto lender Voyager Digital.

The cryptocurrency exchanges cleared a major hurdle and inched a step closer to acquiring over $1 billion worth of Voyager's assets, with the idea being Binance eventually taking charge of returning customer funds.

Leading up to the event, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission initially filed an objection to the deal in early January, questioning Binance US' financial viability.

Blur and OpenSea's competition for market leadership has crowded out the other top marketplaces. Former market leader OpenSea's market share fell to 36.4% last month, despite trading volume increasing to $0.69 billion, from $0.41 billion the month before. On the contrary, newcomer Blur has become the most popular NFT marketplace, with its market share at 56.8% after trading volumes surged to $1.07 billion in February 2023.

Look Out Solana, Airdrop!

Solana NFT marketplace Tensor, once a small player, has quickly racked up market share after learning from the success of leading Ethereum platform Blur; targeting "pro" traders and incentivising user activity.

Tensor launched its first iteration of airdrops on Monday, allowing users to claim rewards based on their trading activity which saw Tensor's Solana NFT trading volume peaked to a daily all-time high of about $486,000.

While already promoting a very high 25 to 50x on rewards for users who traded on Tensor, the marketplace hints at an even larger airdrop in its Season 2 which focuses solely on Tensor trading activity.

Creditors of defunct cryptocurrency exchange Mt. Gox have until Friday March 10th to register and choose their repayment method, as part of the rehabilitation plan.

Creditors are able to pick from a variety of options; lump-sum payment, bank remittance, fund transfer service provider or going through a cryptocurrency exchange or custodian.

The announcement marks a 9-year long awaited event since the bankrupt exchange filed for bankruptcy back in February 2014.

Mysten Labs, the developer behind Sui layer 1 blockchain, have signed a memorandum of understanding with Alibaba Cloud, the cloud computing subsidiary of tech conglomerate Alibaba Group.

The cloud tech giant will provide archival node services and secure cloud infrastructure for validators for Sui's testnet.

The collaboration between the two companies marks the beginning of a partnership to explore potential opportunities in the e-commerce and payments sectors.
