New on the blog: A Few of My Favorite Things (February) It's February! As much as I love warm weather, I'm getting better at taking advantage of the cold winter months as we enjoy more downtime in February and March than any other season of the year. The holidays are packed away, and the busyness of spring schedules and extra yard work/house projects is still several weeks away. So we read, bake, do puzzles, watch movies, go sledding, enjoy having more breathing room in our to-do list, and rest up for the more active (and exciting) weeks and months ahead. I sound like a broken record, but I love the drastic season changes here in Michigan... especially when they force me to take a step back and rest. I'm sharing more winter favorites in this month's Favorite Things post -- hearty winter soups, an eye-opening autobiography, routines that help our home and family function better, a big parenting milestone, and more!
