Update on August 1, 2026 Due Date for FY 2027-2029 DBE Goal

This notice provides an update regarding the submission requirement for FY2027-2029 DBE goal methodologies, which were originally due on August 1, 2026.

Due to the ongoing 49 CFR part 26.111 reevaluation process associated with the DBE IFR, this deadline will not be strictly enforced at this time.

If your state’s UCP has not yet completed the 49 CFR part 26.111 reevaluation process: You cannot begin the goal-setting process at this time. If your state has completed the process: Please proceed with the goal-setting process if you have not already done so.

As a reminder, overall triennial DBE goals must be established and submitted for review prior to setting any contract-specific DBE goals.
