Motor Fuel Prices – June 2026 Tuesday, July 7, 2026 BTS 26-58 Today, the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) released monthly motor fuels prices for June 2026.  In June 2026, the average price for regular motor gasoline was $4.05 per gallon; down 9.6% from May 2026 and up 28.6% from June 2025. By region, the average price for regular motor gasoline in June 2026 was and year-over-year change: West Coast: $5.21 (up 25.6%) Central Atlantic: $4.14 (up 32.0%) New England: $4.10 (up 36.7%) Rocky Mountain: $4.04 (up 28.6%) Midwest: $3.86 (up 27.8%)\ Lower Atlantic: $3.72 (up 27.5%) Gulf Coast: $3.55 (up 29.0%) The average price for diesel no. 2 was $5.02 in June 2026, down 10.3% from May 2026, and up 39.6% from June 2025.
