Motor Fuel Prices – March 2025

Today, the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) released monthly motor fuels prices for March 2025.

In March 2025, the average price for regular motor gasoline was $3.10; down 0.8% from February 2025. The March 2025 price for regular motor gasoline was down 9.6% from March 2024.

By region, the average price for regular motor gasoline in March 2025 was:

West Coast: $4.11 (down 5.4% from March 2024)
Central Atlantic: $3.08 (down 8.8% from March 2024)
Rocky Mountain: $3.02 (down 3.9% from March 2024)
Midwest: $2.95 (down 11.0% from March 2024)
New England: $2.95 (down 8.7% from March 2024)
Lower Atlantic: $2.89 (down 11.8% from March 2024)

Diesel no. 2 rose to $3.59 in March 2025; down 2.4% from February 2025. Diesel fuel prices in March 2025 were down 10.9% from March 2024.
