All-in-all, a pretty exciting week for our family!
Back on the blog, this week's content focuses specifically on frugal living as I continue to receive more questions about ways to cut costs and live on less.
I'm a huge advocate of living below your means and could talk/write at length on the topic, as Dave and I have seen the benefits of living this way for nearly 19 years (and many years before that with our parents).
I prefer spending less versus making more (both viable options to stay out of debt), as Dave and I would rather control our spending than create additional sources of income (which takes time away from our family, home, and church).
That said, unless you're my child, I won't tell you what you should and should not spend your money on. But, assuming you don't have unlimited financial resources, this should be a conversation you have with people close to you.
I'm not here to provide in-depth financial education or mentorship, but rather, a little motivation to help you start working towards your financial goals, and the realization that frugal living (while overwhelming at first) doesn't need to be complicated.
Keep it simple -- figure out what money is coming in, where it's going, and what changes are needed to help you spend less than you make. 😉
I hope you and your family are blessed by this week's content!
