| | | Mt.Gox movements strike again π As we inch closer to the US elections, Mt.Gox is already keeping traders on their toes. Wallets linked to the defunct exchange moved over $2.2B worth of Bitcoin, introducing further turmoil into the crypto markets.
According to blockchain analytics platform Arkham Intelligence, over 30K worth of BTC was transferred to an unmarked wallet, while the remaining 2K was sent to one of Mt.Gox's cold wallets, before finding its way into another anonymous address. Just after the transactions were detected, the price of Bitcoin slid temporarily by 0.9% from $68,000 to $67,400, but has since recovered to $68,800.
Historically, these transfers would indicate that Mt.Gox is making final preparations before redistributing its funds to creditors.

Shots Traded Over Listing Fees on Binance and Coinbase. Brian Armstrong, CEO of Coinbase, retweeted a post criticizing Binance's high listing fees, boasting that Coinbase listings are free.
