Ethereum Labs, the organization behind Ethereum Name Service (ENS), has just announced the upcoming launch of its own Layer 2 network, Namechain. However, it is only expected to go live around the end of 2025.
The purpose of the chain is to increase interoperability, especially between L2 networks.
