FINAL REMINDER: State Safety Oversight Final Rule Overview Webinar—October 30, 2024 Register for the State Safety Oversight (SSO) Final Rule Overview webinar on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 2 p.m. ET.   On October 18, 2024, FTA published updates to the State Safety Oversight rule in the Federal Register, incorporating comments received from the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking. The updates to the final rule implement Bipartisan Infrastructure Law requirements, remove outdated references, clarify existing requirements and simplify the two-hour safety event notification process.   The webinar will provide an overview of recent updates to the SSO Final Rule and presenters will address questions as time permits.
