Hybrid and On-Site Workers Are Equally Burned Out | | The Finding Remote-capable workers who work hybrid and those who work on-site report similar levels of work-life balance and burnout. Why It Matters Many organizations have moved toward hybrid work, and 93% of remote-capable employees say they prefer at least some remote work each week. One of the most-cited advantages of hybrid work is improved work-life balance. However, when asked if they are able to maintain work-life balance, hybrid and on-site workers respond similarly. They are also equally as likely to say they experience chronic burnout. Hybrid work still has benefits. Hybrid workers are more engaged (37%) than their on-site peers (30%). But hybrid work isn't an “easy button” for employee wellbeing. Forty-three percent of employees who had first-hand awareness of unethical behavior say they reported it. | Why didn't employees report it? They thought no action would be taken, were afraid of retaliation or had a bad experience reporting an issue in the past. The solution?
