Read more to find out. | | | Cardano's big chang-e 🗳️ The Cardano mainnet has successfully completed its hard fork known as the Chang upgrade, bringing decentralized governance to the network.
One of the key features that the upgrade brings to Cardano is the ability for ADA holders to vote on governance proposals as part of the network's 'Voltaire' update.
The implementation of CIP-1694 in the Change upgrade supports both direct voting participation as well a delegation to representatives.
Additionally, a new committee will be set up, with new governance roles for stake pool operators to be introduced in the next 3 months.
Other new features included in the upgrade are new cryptographic improvements for the network's smart contract, as well as the addition of Plutus scripts for more complex voting mechanisms.

Pastor Kelby mentioned to Decrypt that they've already started looking at potential locations for sale, and some of the project's holders have already donated over $130K towards the cause.
