Ready for another adventure? ⚔️ The Adventure Gold DAO, the governing organization of the same token distributed to Loot NFT holders earlier in 2021, has announced the launch of its own Layer-2.
Known as 'Adventure Layer', the network is specifically built for hosting fully on-chain games (FOCGs).
Some of Adventure Layer's key features include composable sharding, which allows users and developers to easily interact and build on top of different titles.
Adventure Layer will also host its own Adventure Game Library, a dedicated Solidity-based library for developing FOCGs more efficiently.
Additionally, the Layer-2s SDK will allow for seamless integration with third-party game engines such as Unity and Unreal Engine.
Since the release of Adventure Layer's whitepaper 2 weeks ago, the price of AGLD rose by 22.7% from $0.79 to a peak of $0.97 but has since retraced to $0.71 today. |

The reverse fork 🍴 DeFi protocol Threshold has proposed to merge its threshold BTC (tBTC) with WBTC.
The proposal would be conducted in two phases - the first phase will allow BitGo to become the largest holder of the protocol's native T token through a one-off token mint in exchange for granting Threshold control over the mint/redeem mechanism of WBTC.
Minting for tBTC would then be disabled, and users would be able to convert their existing holdings at a 1:1 ratio to WBTC or native BTC.
The second stage of the proposal would involve migrating WBTC holdings to wallets held under Threshold's decentralized custody system.
If the offer is rejected by BitGo, then the newly minted T tokens may be redirected to offer users a smoother transition to other wrapped Bitcoin alternatives. |

Elon Musk's Dogecoin Lawsuit Dismissed. The controversial billionaire, accused of market manipulation for promoting Dogecoin, saw a $258 billion class action lawsuit dismissed on Thursday after a 2-year legal battle.
