If you knew enough to do the thing you want to do, you don't need the LLM. If you don't know enough, you won't be able to call the LLM on it's bullshit and are at it's mercy.

And while you're busy getting worse answers than you'd get from a search engine without any of source references (or answers that literally contradict the source they pulled from), you're burning down an acre of forest each time you do it.
