| Interest in Pursuing a Degree Is Rising | | Despite a steady decline in college enrollment over the last decade, adults' interest in pursuing some form of higher education is at the highest level that Lumina Foundation and Gallup have recorded. This finding comes from Gallup and Lumina Foundation's newly released State of Higher Education 2024 report. | | | | | Even though interest in higher education is high, significant barriers still remain — preventing many adults from enrolling in a program or completing a degree.
