​ ​ ​ The weather has been absolutely perfect around here lately (not too hot or humid and super sunny) so most of our waking hours have been spent outside playing, relaxing, swimming, and doing LOTS of yard work. Unfortunately, during some of that yard work, we inadvertently chopped our internet line... Due to the gorgeous weather and the lack of internet, I don't have a new post for you this week. However, I do have links to a few of my favorites from the archives (and some exciting family updates below!) ​ Simple Food. For some reason, I wondered if I could enjoy summer more if I didn't make my nightly to-do list. NOPE... not even close! After 2 nights of poor sleep due to my brain continuing to "remember" all the things for the following day, I immediately went back to my nightly to-do lists (including my infamous "Top 5 Lists"). These lists have worked wonders for my productivity for almost 20 years, and I'm confident they will work for you too! Keep reading --> What exactly is a Top 5 List? ​ ​ In other news... Champions: The boys' baseball team pulled off another extra-inning win to capture the tournament championship earlier this week! 🥳 It was such a fun season for them, and the whole family! ​ #39 (on Sunday): Yesterday, I had the kids sing Happy Birthday to me as I unloaded the trunk load of annuals I purchased. Then I said, "Thank you so much! How did you know exactly what I wanted for my birthday!?!" They all rolled their eyes. But deep down, I know they were thinking, "Oh good, I totally forgot Mom's birthday... now I don't need to do anything." Also, minivans really can haul just about anything! 🥰 ​ Together, at last: After 18 years teaching in the same school, Dave is moving to our kids' school system next fall! It was a bittersweet decision as we loved his previous school, but we are all very excited for this change... and the timing couldn't be better with Nora heading to high school in just 2 years!
