Eighteen years ago this month, I ran a local 25k race -- one week before I graduated college and one month before I got married.
I am NOT a runner... but I really wanted to do this specific race and figured I was in the best shape of my life as a 20-year-old college athlete, so I went for it.
The race started off well, but the last few miles were rough. When I crossed the finish line at 2:04 (my goal was less than 2 hours ๐ข) I was practically dragging my feet behind me.
I tell you this story because it's how I feel during these last weeks of school -- I started out strong, but now I'm basically limping to the finish line and SO ready to be done.

5 staff appreciation days โ
3 field trips โ
3 pajama days โ
2 field days โ
2 class picnics โ
2 end-of-year concerts โ
2 black light dodgeball vs. parents games โ
2 park parties โ
1 kickball game โ
1 stuffed animal day โ
1 school service project โ
0 missing library books โ
Just. a few. days. left.
We can finish this "race"!

We are instinctively more careful with things we perceive as having more value (expensive cars, fancy furniture, high-end clothing, etc.) So I challenge you to place a higher value on your time as a simple but effective way to boost your productivity!
