The Solana-based Tensor NFT marketplace has officially launched and distributed over $200M of their native token to eligible wallets. While TNSR is currently priced around $1.95, approximately 38.3% lower than the pre-launch price of $3 on Whales Market, that hasn't stopped users from notching over $640M of trading volume since the token's launch. According to the team, TNSR will be used to manage the vital aspects of the Tensor platform, with 55% of the 1B token supply earmarked for the community.
The initial airdrop of 125M tokens, or 12.5% of the total supply, have been airdropped to eligible users, including Tensor users and owners of the platform's own NFT collection, Tensorians. However, it seems that Tensorian owners were very disappointed with the allocation that they received, with some actually losing money by acquiring the NFTs at a greater cost than their airdrop.
Since the TNSR airdrop claims opened, the floor price of Tensorians has plummeted by 47.9% from 40.9 SOL (~$7,300) to 21.3 SOL (~$3,700) today. HumanCode AI, a biometrics developer, has partnered with the TON Society to launch a $5M incentive program for participants to scan their palms.
Similar in nature to the Worldcoin project by Sam Altman, the HumanCode project aims to provide reliable identity verification through blockchain technology.
