| | | | Email accessibility is just as important as your email deliverability—without considering it, you minimize your reach. Email accessibility enables all recipients to receive, understand and engage with your email regardless of their ability. While it may take a bit of time to set up, it'll make your brand more inclusive, improve the user experience and boost conversions and engagement. We dive into all the ways you can achieve better email accessibility, from defining the default html language, making copy readable by using the Flesch-Kincaid Reading Ease test, being consistent with your support communication, plus much more! We also dive into tools you can use to get started.
| | | | Important update to DKIM records | | | We're sunsetting our DKIM via TXT record support and changing it to DKIM via CNAME. This will be a more scalable, secure and quick process to set up (no need to add a super long DKIM value). If you have at least 1 verified domain, you'll need to migrate your TXT-DKIM record to a CNAME-DKIM record by October 1st, 2024. To do this: 1. Add a new CNAME record on your registrar's DNS zone with the name mlsend2.domainkey and the value mlsend2._[domainkey.mailersend.com]. Do not delete the old TXT-DKIM record. 2. 48 hours after you've added the CNAME record, remove the old TXT-DKIM record. Not migrating to the new CNAME record before October 1st will result in lower deliverability due to your domain being unverified so make sure you migrate before then! | | | | Take full advantage of your account | | MailerSend user? | | | | Between Wednesday, April 10th, and Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024, due to issues with our bulk and single email endpoints, there were periodic disruptions to service for some customers which resulted in their emails being delayed. This resulted in some downtime, and for the first time, we did not meet our SLA during this last period of 30 days.
To learn more about the service disruption, how our Service Level Agreement was impacted, and what to do if you think your account was affected, head to our announcement. We've also included details about what we're doing to prevent this from happening again and how you can find updates about our service status.
