| Revolut has that dog in 'em 🐶 Time for Revolut users to make a new furry friend! According to BonkDAO, the governing organization behind the highly popular Bonk memecoin on Solana, the fintech platform intends to run a $1.2M 'Learn and Earn' campaign, which is anticipated to introduce another 500,000 new users to the memecoin.
With well over 38M users on Revolut, the campaign only needs to attract 1.3% of the platform's existing user base to achieve its target.
The proposal has since been approved by 8 out of the 12 members of the BonkDAO voting council, meaning 93M BONK tokens will automatically be set aside for distribution to campaign participants. As part of the proposal, Revolut will also list BONK on its platform. Since the proposal was made public yesterday, BONK has risen by 5.7% from $0.00001352 to $0.00001425 today. From another perspective, popular crypto personality Ansem highlighted the amount of fees being earned by the Telegram trading bot Bonkbot, which could potentially push BONK even higher.
For the uninitiated, Bonkbot uses 100% of its collected trading fees to repurchase Bonk and 10% of all fees earned to burn BONK tokens.

This news is reminiscent of the time when Dogecoin started catching the eyes of the general public, especially with the active shilling of Elon Musk, and we all know how that turned out.
