MicroStrategy has recently acquired an additional 14,620 Bitcoins, investing $615.7 million in this latest purchase at an average price of $42,110 per Bitcoin.
With this purchase, MicroStrategy's total Bitcoin holdings now amount to 189,150 BTC, obtained at an average price of $31,168. The company has invested a total of $5.89 billion in these holdings, which are presently valued at $8.1 billion, marking a $2.2 billion increase in value. Among the top 20 cryptocurrencies, the price of Ether has surged over 6.5% in the last 24 hours, hitting $2,351, according to CoinGecko.
However, it's the scaling projects linked to the network that are thriving. Layer-2 rollups such as Optimism and Arbitrum soared by 30% and 16%, respectively.
