Ethereum Layer 2 network Scroll seems to have launched its zkEVM on the mainnet, with users already bridging funds to the platform, as indicated by on-chain data.

So far, more than 330 ETH (equivalent to $515,000) has been bridged, involving over 850 transactions and nearly 500 unique users, according to data from a Dune Analytics dashboard.

Non-Apple Users Rejoice!

Uniswap, a prominent decentralized exchange, has launched a mobile cryptocurrency wallet for Android, following a similar release on Apple's iOS platform earlier.

The app is currently in beta, with the company inviting members of the DeFi community to participate in testing before a wider release. Reportedly, approximately 35,000 users have already joined the waitlist.

Around $400 million, stolen from the now-closed FTX crypto exchange in November, may be linked to Russian cybercriminal groups, according to Elliptic.

The thieves transferred $100 million worth of these funds to the Bitcoin blockchain using RenBridge before using ChipMixer, a tool that obscures addresses.

A significant portion of these stolen assets, traced through ChipMixer, appears to mix with funds tied to Russian criminal entities, including ransomware groups and darknet markets, before reaching exchanges.

Lido takes the L

The leading liquid staking protocol, Lido Finance, is confronted with a minimum penalty of 20 Ethereum that must be paid before it can withdraw its ETH from validators that were slashed.

This occurred after 20 validators linked to Launchnodes, one of Lido's node operators, were slashed from the Ethereum network on Wednesday, marking the highest number of validators slashed in a single day this year.
