The blockchain-based social application Stars Arena, inspired by FriendTech and launched on Avalanche's C-chain network, has experienced a surge in transaction activity since its debut in September.

It has quickly gained popularity, with more than 10,000 unique active wallets interacting with the application in a 24-hour period, surpassing other dapps on the Avalanche network, according to data from DappRadar.

Jaynti Kanani, the co-founder of Ethereum layer 2 scaling solution Polygon, has announced that he is stepping back from his day-to-day involvement with the network.

Kanani, who co-founded Polygon in 2017, made this announcement on X (formerly Twitter), stating that he had made this decision about six months ago and would now be focusing on new adventures while still supporting and contributing to Polygon from a distance.
