1. Biden Slips Among Democrats

As wars in the Middle East and Ukraine take up President Biden's bandwidth, our latest poll reveals a nine-percentage-point drop to 75% in approval among Democrats, Biden's lowest yet from his own party. This latest decline brings his overall approval rating down to 37%, marking the second time his rating has dropped this low during his presidency.

2. Don't Trust Everything You Read — or Watch

America's relationship with the mass media has worsened for the fifth consecutive year, as 32% (tied with 2016 for the record low) now say they trust the media to report the news fully, accurately and fairly. But here's the twist: You can't just blame Republicans. In fact, since peaking at 76% in 2018, the percentage of Democrats saying they have a great deal or fair amount of trust in the mass media has dropped a whopping 18 percentage points, while Republicans' trust is down 10 points.
