Binance US President and CEO, Brian Shroder has officially resigned from his position within the company.
Replacing Brian Shroder as the CEO of Binance US is Norman Reed, who previously held the position of Chief Legal Officer at Binance US. Alongside Shroder's resignation, Binance US is also undergoing a significant round of layoffs, with over 100 positions being eliminated, amounting to roughly one-third of its workforce.

MetaMask, the most widely used web3 wallet, has launched a new software feature called Snaps. It is designed to broaden its compatibility with blockchain networks that do not inherently support the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
With the introduction of Snaps, MetaMask can now extend its utility to non-EVM blockchains, including Cosmos, Solana, Tezos, Starknet, Algorand, and more.

Franklin Templeton has joined the growing list of asset managers seeking approval for a spot Bitcoin ETF (Exchange-Traded Fund).
They have submitted an S-1 form to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a Bitcoin ETF called the "Franklin Bitcoin ETF." This ETF would primarily hold Bitcoin assets in custody through the Coinbase Custody Trust Company.
