Silk Road BTC On The Move

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has begun transferring around 9,800 bitcoin (BTC), valued at approximately $300 million, that were confiscated from the Silk Road dark web marketplace.

The movement of these funds has raised questions about the government's intentions for the bitcoin. The DOJ has previously stated its intention to sell the remaining seized BTC in multiple batches throughout the year.
