New On The Blog: How to tackle big to-dos without big time or money. ↑↑ This is 38 ↑↑ Technically my birthday isn't until Friday... but it's close enough to celebrate. 🥳 Seems like a lifetime ago when I officially launched this website the week before my 24th birthday... Thanks to so many of you who have been here from the beginning (and to those who just hopped on board!) There's already a cheesecake in my fridge... which is dangerous because most of my children don't like cheesecake, so you know who's going to eat it all >>> 🙋♀️ Other than eating cheesecake, I plan to spend the day hanging out at home and reading by the pool... a "good boring" sort of day (I know many of you can relate!) Simple Food. This charcuterie board (a.k.a meat and cheese tray) is my go-to lunch all summer long. It's so easy, the kids love it, and they keep picking at all the fruits and veggies until everything is gone. Try my recipe --> Simple Summer Charcuterie Board Organized Home. The Summer Solstice: Next week is the Summer Solstice -- a.k.a. the longest day of the year (for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere). I always challenge myself to be extra productive on June 21... not in a pressure sort of way, just a fun self-motivation way. Maybe you'll be motivated to get started and/or make progress on one of your to-do's too. 🙃 DIY Summer Haircuts! I've always cut Dave's and the kids' hair, saving thousands of dollars over the past 17+ years (I estimate we save $700 per year on haircuts). I had absolutely zero knowledge or training when I started -- just this set of clippers and a few YouTube videos. If you want to save money (and time), I highly encourage you to give it a try this summer -- after all, hair grows back! ✂︎ A Summer Break... 🥳 I'll be offline for the next few weeks, as a break from my computer is just what I need for these first few weeks of summer. You'll get an email when I return (probably in mid-July). Until then, I hope you have a great summer and enjoy this week's content! One more Buster picture before I head offline... isn't this the cutest!?! 🥰 Summer blessings to you all, 💕 Andrea & family |
