A member of the US House of Representatives, Warren Davidson has introduced a new 'SEC Stabilization Act', which includes the removal of Gary Gensler as the chair of the SEC.

The proposed act reflects concerns surrounding Gensler's regulatory approach towards cryptocurrencies and aims to reshuffle the leadership at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Fox News states that once Gensler is removed, power would be redistributed between the chair and the current commissioners, with the inclusion of a sixth member to prevent any party from gaining a majority.

The Bank of China's investment bank subsidiary, BOCI, has recently issued 200 million Chinese yuan ($28 million) worth of digital structured notes on the Ethereum network.

Starting in July, online brokerage platform eToro will no longer allow Polygon, Algorand, Decentraland, and Dash purchases for US customers, following a similar decision by Robinhood.

However, customers may continue to hold or sell any remaining assets on their accounts.

This decision is driven by regulatory considerations on cryptocurrency trading platforms operating in the United States, which involved illegally selling certain cryptocurrencies which are classified as securities to the general public.
